Recognised as a super-fast growing hedge.

Australian native plants with edible berries. Bush tucker.

Long living, with many decades of growth.

Can be left to grow to their full height, or easily contained with regular pruning.

Will grow into tall feature trees if left to themselves.

Uses include standard plantings, pots, screening, hedging, topiary, single or multiple plantings.

Position: Full sun to semi-shade.

Foliage: New growth is multi-toned bronzes and reds that then darken off to deep glossed greens.

Flowers: Masses of white/creams flowers that grow into edible, ornamental white/pink/purple berries that are recognised as bush tucker.

Height: Will grow around 1 metre per year once established.

Can be hedged in at any height from 1.5 to 10 metres.

Planting guide: Eight trees gives over 8 metres of hedging or a small glade.

Plant 1 metre apart for a quick dense hedge.

To hedge even faster, plant 50cm apart then remove every second tree when they really crowd each other.
